You do not need to learn a new form language. Joripo uses XLSForm, the format most survey tools use, so most existing instruments deploy without changes, and Joripo tells you on upload about anything it does not support.
1. Upload and deploy
Upload your workbook from the Forms home. Joripo compiles it into an XForm and serves it right away, with no external server required. It also detects which questions carry the values the checks read, such as the enumerator, the GPS point, and the start and end times, so your quality checks are wired up as soon as the form is deployed.
2. Collect in the field
Enumerators sign in to Joripo Collect on Android with your organisation's server name and their own username, and download the form. They fill it offline and it is sent when there is signal. Teams that prefer ODK Collect can scan a device key's QR code instead.
3. Watch the checks run
Every submission that arrives is checked against the form's rule set by the checks that look at one interview at a time; comparisons across enumerators and the whole dataset run when you choose. Open Monitor for quality findings, enumerator scorecards and quota tracking. When you are ready to analyse, export a wide CSV with an n_flags column and a generated Stata do-file with labels.
