Monitoring and quality checks
Watching data arrive, the High Frequency Checks and every check explained, reviewing findings, scorecards and quotas, field-monitoring dashboards, maps and tracksheets.
Monitoring is where Joripo differs most from other collection tools. Every submission is checked as it arrives, findings are written in plain words with the interview they are about, and the team works through them while the enumerators are still in the field. Above the checks, field monitoring turns a form's data into the indicators, dashboards and tracksheets a field operation is run by.
- Submissions and the Data ExplorerFollowing submissions as they arrive, browsing a form's answers, opening one submission, and looking one up by its key.
- How the High Frequency Checks workChecks that run as each interview arrives and checks you run over a whole form, the question map they depend on, their settings, and why nothing fails silently.
- Every check explainedThe twenty-eight High Frequency Checks, what each looks for, when it runs, what it needs from you and its starting thresholds.
- Reviewing flags and the quality reportWhat a quality flag says, resolving and dismissing it, what happens when the checks run again, and the quality report and n_flags in the export.
- Enumerator scorecards and quotasEach enumerator's output and findings at a glance, and progress against targets by stratum.
- Field monitoring projectsMonitoring a Joripo form, a SurveyCTO form or an imported file with your own variables, indicators, rules, productivity matrix, targets, cleaning lines and Google Sheets outputs.
- DashboardsBuilding a dashboard from a form's variables or by hand, its items, filters and tabs, publishing and sharing it, and downloading it as Excel, CSV, pictures or PDF.
- MapsPoints and shaded areas on a dashboard, drawn by Joripo itself from your own boundary files, with no map service involved.
- TracksheetsA list of the people to reach against the records that reach them: attempts, outcomes, appointments, stages across forms and the next action for each.
- Purging submissionsDeleting some or all of a form's submissions for good, with the exact list confirmed, a verified backup first and a log.
